News Flash: It is revealed that Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, has admitted to being the person who leaked the draft decision overturning Roe v Wade. Her husband shared the draft with her, as he often does, she said. She did not give a reason for leaking it to the press. This action will certainly result in Clarence Thomas’s retirement and the appointment of a second justice by Joe Biden. The inside word is that Ginni Thomas agreed to take the fall because her public reputation could not suffer much more than it already has done. In return, the Chief Justice – who certainly knows the real source of the leak – made her a promise. It is not yet known what that promise is, but it must be something the Thomases want very much and have wanted for a very long time… Ok, all the above is, of course, almost certainly untrue. The subject matter lies beyond the realm of this column, but it is just too much to resist raking the muck of the Americans as another one of their sacred narcissistic institutions self-destructs before the world.
